Fresh Florida citrus will last much longer in the refrigerator. Store loose in the low-humidity crisper drawer. Do not put in a plastic bag or airtight container. This will keep them as fresh as possible for as long as possible. Peeled or cut citrus should be refrigerated in an airtight container. If refrigerator space is an issue you can store in a cool, dry place. Temperatures from 35 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit are best.
